The Cárdenas field is located in Tabasco, 36 km southeast from Comalcalco and 7 km from Cárdenas.

Additionally, the Mora Field is located in the southwest part of Tabasco, in the Cárdenas municipality, roughly 12 km north from Cárdenas and 29 km from Comalcalco.
